I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World and Became Unrivaled in the Real World, Too (2023) is a Japanese animated isekai series produced by Millepensee, KADOKAWA and TMS Entertainment. It follows Yuuya Tenjou, a boy who has been brutally bullied his entire life and who discovers an alternate reality full of elves, magic and demons. Supporting characters include Lexia von Arcelia, Kaori Houjou and Rin Kanzaki. The engine of the series is simple: the protagonist wants to escape his humiliation at school, and the cheat skills and portal between his old and new worlds give him the means to fight back. Each episode mixes high school life with fantasy combat and harem romance, moving between the two worlds across a single season of short episodes. The tone is escapist and brisk, with comic indulgence in the power fantasy and some violent action. Viewers who enjoy Mushoku Tensei, Arifureta and Overlord will find the same appetite for overpowered protagonists, wish-fulfilling revenge and fantasy escape, served with a light, colorful and energetic style.

Reception is mixed, with praise for its escapist power fantasy and animation tempered by familiar isekai conventions.
