A Boss And A Babe

An ambitious gamer and ASMR presenter lands an internship at a struggling game company, where his aloof boss unexpectedly becomes captivated by him.

A Boss And A Babe (2023) is a Thai boys love workplace romance miniseries created by Brave2Y for GMM 25. Its twelve hour-long episodes follow an ambitious gamer and ASMR presenter who lands an internship at a struggling game company. Gun (Jiratchapong Srisang) is the aloof boss who, despite himself, becomes captivated by the young intern, and the show runs on the friction of that unexpected attraction within a company trying to survive. Supporting roles are carried by Kasidet Plookphol as Cher and Laem, Chinnarat Siriphongchawalit as Jack, and Pusit Dittapisit as Thee, whose relationships pull the office dynamics in different directions. Each episode is built from everyday studio scenes, deadlines, online streaming life and small moments of jealousy and friendship that gradually expose the characters' private loneliness. The tone is romantic and light in its comedy, but it also carries quieter threads of depression, insomnia and heartbreak. Its setting is a contemporary Thai game studio and the gaming world around it. Fans of Bad Buddy and Love Sick The Series will find the same mix of workplace banter, sincere romance and emotional restraint in this single-season limited run.

Viewers broadly praise the lead chemistry and the slow-burn romance, while formal critical coverage is limited.
