Danny Phantom

Danny Fenton was once your typical kid until he accidentally blew up his parents' laboratory and became ghost-hunting superhero Danny Phantom. Now half-ghost, Danny's picked up paranormal powers, but only his sister, Jazz, and best friends, Samantha and Tucker, know his secret. Danny's busy fighting ghosts, saving Casper High and hiding his new identity all while trying to graduate.

Danny Phantom (2004-2007) is an American animated superhero comedy created by Butch Hartman for Nickelodeon. Danny Fenton (voiced by David Kaufman) was an ordinary kid until a lab accident turned him into a half-ghost hero, and now he fights spirits around Casper High while trying to keep his secret from nearly everyone and get through school. His best friends Samantha (Grey DeLisle) and Tucker (Rickey D'Shon Collins), along with his sister Jazz (Colleen O'Shaughnessey), are among the few who know the truth, and his ghost-hunting parents Jack (Rob Paulsen) and Madeline (Kath Soucie) add comic friction. Vice Principal Lancer (Ron Perlman) is a constant obstacle. Each episode is a self-contained ghost-of-the-week adventure, layered over a three-season serialized arc across 49 episodes. The tone is brisk, colorful and goofy, with teen humor and a warm, playful heart. Fans of Ben 10, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Kim Possible will find a familiar mix of secret-identity fun and supernatural action.

Audiences rate the series positively, with later seasons earning higher marks for its teen superhero adventure and comedy.
