American Restoration (2010-2016) is an American reality series that aired on History, produced by Leftfield Pictures. Rick Dale anchors the show as the owner of Rick's Restorations, an antique restoration shop in Las Vegas, Nevada, working alongside his staff and his teenage son. The engine of each episode is simple and concrete: a damaged vintage item arrives at the shop, and the crew must figure out how to bring it back to its original condition, with sanding, metalwork, paint and parts sourcing shown step by step. Across five seasons and 137 episodes of roughly 23 minutes each, the format stays unscripted and episodic, with each restoration forming a self-contained arc. The tone is warm, practical and low-key, with the banter of a family workshop giving the work a homey feel. Viewers who enjoy the restoration craft of Pawn Stars and the antique hunting of American Pickers will find a similar pleasure in watching objects be rescued from disrepair. The show is set in the present day, with an emphasis on craftsmanship, patience and the satisfaction of seeing something old made whole again.
