We Bare Bears

Three brother bears awkwardly attempt to find their place in civilized society, whether they're looking for food, trying to make human friends, or scheming to become famous on the internet. Grizzly, Panda and Ice Bear stack atop one another when they leave their cave and explore the hipster environs of the San Francisco Bay Area, and it's clear the siblings have a lot to learn about a technologically driven world. By their side on many adventures are best friend Chloe (the only human character in the cast), fame-obsessed panda Nom Nom, and Charlie, aka Bigfoot.

We Bare Bears (2015-2019) is an American animated comedy created by Daniel Chong for Cartoon Network, a family-friendly slice of life series produced by Cartoon Network Studios. Three brother bears, the sensible Grizzly (voiced by Eric Edelstein), the anxious Panda (voiced by Bobby Moynihan) and the deadpan Ice Bear (voiced by Demetri Martin), leave their cave to make their way in the San Francisco Bay Area. Their engine is simple and relatable: they want food, human friends, or a shot at internet fame, and every mishap comes from misreading the customs of a technology-driven city. Their best friend Chloe (Lo Mutuc), the only human in the main cast, anchors many adventures alongside fame-obsessed Nom Nom (Patton Oswalt) and Charlie, aka Bigfoot (Jason Lee). Each episode is a short, self-contained caper of roughly eleven minutes, spread over four seasons and 138 episodes, so the show is easy to dip into. The tone is cozy, goofy and gently sweet, with a dry undercurrent of awkward humor. Fans of Adventure Time, Steven Universe and Gravity Falls will find the same warm, offbeat sensibility here.

Audiences broadly embrace the series as a warm, funny and gently absurd animated comedy for kids and adults alike, with its early seasons rated highest.
