SIX

Action drama series inspired by the real missions of Navy SEAL Team Six.

Six (2017-2018) is an American military action drama series created by William Broyles Jr. and David Broyles for History. Loosely inspired by the real missions of Navy SEAL Team Six, the series follows an elite special forces unit as it is sent into hostile territory to confront kidnappers, terrorist networks and armed insurgents. Joe 'Bear' Graves (Barry Sloane) leads the operatives through dangerous missions, while Michael Nasry (Dominic Adams) and Alex Caulder (Kyle Schmid) carry much of the field pressure alongside Ricky 'Buddha' Ortiz (Juan Pablo Raba). Gina Cline (Olivia Munn) brings a sharp intelligence perspective to the operation. Each episode is built around a mission, with the team's tactical planning, rescues and firefights giving way to the toll those operations take on the families waiting at home, including Lena Graves (Brianne Davis) and Jackie Ortiz (Nadine Velazquez). Across eighteen episodes in two seasons, the tone is gritty, intense and propulsive, grounded in the logistics of modern warfare. Fans of SEAL Team, Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan and Special Forces will find resonance in its blend of procedural realism and military camaraderie. The show was canceled after its second season, leaving its story unfinished.

Audiences rate the action-driven SEAL drama positively, valuing its military set pieces and team dynamics.
