Fights Break Sphere

Once a prodigy, Xiao Yan loses all his powers and becomes the shame of his family—until he awakens a master from his mother’s ring, unlocking his true potential and setting out on a journey of revenge and redemption in the martial world.

Fights Break Sphere (2018) is a Chinese xianxia fantasy series produced for Hunan Television, adapted from a popular web novel. Xiao Yan (Leo Wu) begins as a once-celebrated prodigy who has lost all his powers and become a source of shame to his family. His fortunes turn when he awakens a powerful master sealed within his late mother's ring, and he sets out into the martial world to pursue revenge and personal redemption. Along the way he is shaped by a circle of allies and rivals, including Xiao Xun'er (Lin Yun), Yao Chen (Baron Chen) and Gu Yuan (Li Zifeng), whose loyalties and ambitions test him at every turn. The engine of the show is the steady climb of a humiliated young man through sect rivalries, duels and training grounds, with each episode built around a fresh confrontation that tests his growing strength. Set in an invented martial realm of cultivation, clans and ancient artifacts, the series carries a tone of defiant determination, romantic longing and sweeping spectacle. Fans of Soul Land, The Legend of Chusen and Wulin Heroes will find a similar pull of power progression and wuxia-style honour, making it a natural pick for viewers who love long, character-driven fantasy adventures.

Popular with fans for its action and power progression, though critics found the writing formulaic and the story conventional.
