I've Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years and Maxed Out My Level (2021-2025) is a Japanese animated isekai comedy adapted from a light novel and aired on AT-X. After dying of overwork in the modern world, a protagonist is reincarnated as an immortal witch who spends three centuries in a quiet, self-sufficient life, hunting slimes to pay the bills. Her unhurried routine gradually builds a reputation, and she reaches level 99 without ever meaning to. Rumors of the powerful witch draw curious adventurers, a duelist dragon and a monster girl who insists on calling her mom, all of whom disrupt the peace she wanted. The engine of the show is this gap between a protagonist who craves calm and a world that keeps pressing in on her, and each episode is built from small domestic mishaps, deadpan exchanges and the escalating attention of strangers. Told across two seasons and twenty-four half-hour episodes, the series keeps a gentle, cozy register with light fantasy wonder and self-aware humor. Its relaxed pacing and low-stakes charm will appeal to viewers who enjoy the comfortable energy of slice of life anime. Fans of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, Mushoku Tensei and Frieren will find familiar pleasures here.

Audiences find the relaxed slice of life comedy amusing but rate it only modestly, with the premise carrying more appeal than the execution.
