Nick Cannon Presents: Wild 'N Out

Nick Cannon and an A-list celebrity lead a team of improv comedians as they compete against each other.

Nick Cannon Presents: Wild 'N Out (2005-present) is a United States sketch comedy series created by Nick Cannon for MTV2, VH1 and MTV. Host Nick Cannon leads teams of improv performers, including recurring players Vena E. and Santwon McCray, through games where they riff on prompts, mock one another and hand off bits to a celebrity guest. Each episode is built from quick improvised sketches, rapid comeback rounds and pop culture jabs, so the engine is simple: keep the rhythm up and win the room. The show runs across twenty-one seasons with hundreds of half-hour episodes, a continuing competitive format rather than a story, and it is still airing. Set in a contemporary American studio, it feels loud, playful and youthful, with an irreverent energy that sometimes tips into repetition. Fans of Whose Line Is It Anyway?, Saturday Night Live and Drop the Mic will find a similar appetite for live improv battles and celebrity sparring.

Viewers find the show energetic and fun but repetitive, with jokes that recycle the same formula across seasons.
