Campione!

Godo Kusanagi, a high school student that kills a god, claiming its power and title of Campione, to slay other gods.

Campione! (2012) is a Japanese animated fantasy comedy series created for AT-X, adapted from a light novel and produced by diomedéa. Godo Kusanagi, a high school student who has killed a god and claimed its power and title of Campione, is the protagonist, and the story follows his drive to slay other gods that stand in his way. Liliana Kranjčar, Arianna Hayama Arialdi and Shizuka Kusanagi orbit him as allies, rivals and companions, while Athena and Perseus bring mythological weight to the conflicts. Each episode mixes battles against mythic opponents with school life and romantic teasing, so the mood stays light and playful even when the stakes rise. The series keeps a steady, breezy rhythm across its single season. Its setting is a modern Japanese school overlaid with the hidden world of gods and magic. Viewers who enjoy High School DxD, Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? and Haganai will find familiar pleasures here, including fanservice, power fantasy and an ensemble of companions, with the emotional stakes kept deliberately modest throughout.

Reviewers broadly find Campione! a lively, fan-service-heavy action comedy that delivers light fun but little depth beyond its harem and power-fantasy conventions.
