Project Mc²

McKeyla, Adrienne, Bryden, and Camryn are four super smart and science-skilled girls recruited to join the spy organization, NOV8.

Project Mc² (2015-2017) is an American family comedy series created by Jordana Arkin, produced for Netflix. It follows four brilliant, science-skilled teenage girls, led by McKeyla McAlister (Mika Abdalla) with Camryn Coyle (Ysa Penarejo), Adrienne Atoms (Victoria Vida) and Bryden Bandweth (Genneya Walton), who are recruited into NOV8, a secret spy organization. Their engine is simple and playful: each episode pits the young recruits against a mission that requires gadgets, quick thinking and teamwork while they juggle the ordinary pressures of school and friendship. The show spans six seasons with episodes running about thirty minutes, and it was canceled after its run. Its tone is breezy, upbeat and wholesome, with a bright, comic register suited to younger viewers. Danica McKellar appears as a recurring antagonist figure, and Belle Shouse plays Ember Evergreen. Fans of Totally Spies!, Lab Rats and Sabrina the Teenage Witch will find a similar blend of teen heroines, gadget-driven adventure and kid-friendly humor.

Audience reception of Project Mc² is negative overall, with strong early seasons undercut by a sharply lower-rated third season.
