Storm Hawks

Storm Hawks is an animated television series created by Asaph "Ace" Fipke and made by Nerd Corps Entertainment in conjunction and collaboration with Cartoon Network and YTV. It premiered on Cartoon Network on May 25, 2007. It started to air on YTV in September 2007. It started to air on Cartoon Network in the UK on August 6, 2007. A young hero with a rare gift sets out across a world split into rival nations, where the balance between peoples is fraying and a shadowy empire is stirring up war. Traveling with a small band of companions, the protagonist must master their power while learning what it costs to lead. The series moves briskly, pairing kinetic aerial and martial set pieces with a steady undercurrent of humor and warmth between its unlikely allies. Its tone is hopeful and adventurous, yet it doesn't shy from grief, betrayal, or the moral weight of fighting for a cause. Each season widens the map and deepens the conflict, building toward a larger reckoning that tests loyalty and identity. Viewers drawn to serialized fantasy, found-family dynamics, and big bright worldbuilding will find much to enjoy, while younger audiences can enjoy the accessible storytelling. The show rewards patience, with threads planted early paying off across its run, and its emotional core rests on friendship that is earned rather than assumed.

Widely regarded as one of the best animated series, praised for its serialized storytelling, character arcs, and world-building.
