Andi Mack

Andi is contemplative and artistic and sheltered by overprotective parents. But on the eve of her 13th birthday, Andi's free-spirited older sister Bex returns home with a revelation that changes everything and sends Andi on an uncharted course of self-discovery.

Andi Mack (2017-2019) is a Disney Channel coming-of-age comedy-drama created by Terri Minsky for Disney Channel. Thirteen-year-old Andi Mack (Peyton Elizabeth Lee) is a contemplative, artistic girl raised by overprotective parents, and her world shifts on the eve of her birthday when her free-spirited older sister Bex (Lilan Bowden) comes home with a revelation that changes everything. Her best friend Cyrus Goodman (Joshua Rush) and classmate Buffy Driscoll (Sofia Wylie) share the middle school hallways and lunch tables as Andi navigates friendship, family secrets, and a growing sense of who she is. Across three seasons and fifty-seven episodes, the series moves through school days, family dinners, and small social crises, with each episode built from concrete everyday moments rather than a single case. Its tone is warm, sincere, and gently funny, balancing light comedy with tender pauses about belonging and self-discovery. The family home, the school, and the neighborhood make a grounded suburban American setting in the present day. Fans of Girl Meets World and Raven's Home will find the same blend of wholesome humor, sibling dynamics, and young-adolescent heart.

Viewers consider Andi Mack a warm, positive coming-of-age family comedy-drama with inspiring themes, though some find its episodes and seasons too short for its audience.
