DuckTales

The adventures of billionaire Scrooge McDuck and his nephews Huey, Dewey and Louie, their famous uncle Donald Duck, pilot extraordinaire Launchpad, Mrs. Beakly, Webby and Roboduck. Adventures and hidden treasures are everywhere, in their hometown Duckburg and all around the world.

DuckTales (2017-2021) is an American animated family adventure series created by Francisco Angones and Matt Youngberg for Disney Channel and Disney XD, a Disney Television Animation production. Billionaire Scrooge McDuck (voiced by David Tennant) leads the story alongside his nephews Huey, Dewey and Louie (voiced by Danny Pudi, Ben Schwartz and Bobby Moynihan), the enthusiastic Webby Vanderquack (Kate Micucci), pilot Launchpad McQuack (Beck Bennett) and the sharp-tongued housekeeper Mrs. Beakley (Toks Olagundoye). Their engine is simple and joyful: a hunt for hidden treasures, lost artifacts and forgotten legends, which takes them through their hometown of Duckburg and across the globe. Each episode is a brisk, self-contained caper with gadgets, rival treasure seekers and cliffhanging puzzles, while longer arcs build across three seasons and sixty-nine episodes. Donald Duck appears as the family's famous uncle. The tone is playful, warm and breezy, with a light sense of wonder and a strong emphasis on loyalty and family. Fans of Gravity Falls, Recess and Teen Titans Go! will find similar kid-friendly energy and comic adventure in this reboot of the classic Disney cartoon.

Audiences broadly regard the rebooted series as a joyful, adventurous family cartoon that honors the original while adding fresh energy.
