Angel's Last Mission: Love

To regain his place in Heaven, a mischievous angel must find love for a cold-hearted ballerina – but he ends up falling for her.

Angel's Last Mission: Love (2019) is a South Korean KBS2 fantasy romance series created by Choi Yoon-Kyo, a single-season k-drama of 32 episodes running about 32 minutes each. A mischievous angel, played by L as Kim Dan, must win the heart of a cold-hearted ballerina, Lee Yeon-Seo, played by Shin Hae-sun, to earn back his place in Heaven, but he ends up falling for her instead. Around them orbit a love triangle with Ji Kang-Woo, played by Lee Dong-gun, and Geum Ni-Na, played by Kim Bo-mi, whose rivalries and loyalties complicate every step of the courtship. The engine of the story is the angel's bargain: each episode pulls him deeper into the human world of ballet studios, shared living arrangements, and the tangle of childhood friendships while his celestial deadline looms. The tone is tender and melancholic, a supernatural romance that leans on tearjerker moments and quiet longing as much as playful banter. Ballet gives the romance its graceful, aching rhythm, and the Korean drama tradition gives it a steady emotional pace across a single complete season. Fans of Goblin and Hotel del Luna will find resonance in its blend of celestial fantasy, bittersweet romance, and heartfelt melodrama.

Audiences rated the series positively, praising its romance, emotional pull and lead chemistry.
