Class of Lies (2019) is a South Korean crime mystery series created for OCN and produced by Studio Dragon. Yoon Kyun-sang plays Ki Moo-Hyeok, a high-winning lawyer who cares only about money until a murder at a high school destroys his reputation. Determined to win back his good name, he slips into the school as a temporary teacher and begins probing the secrets the students are hiding. Along the way he works alongside Keum Sae-rok as Ha So-Hyun, a P.E. teacher devoted to her students, and the two uncover layers of jealousy, bullying and hidden loyalties. Each stretch of the sixteen-episode run peels back another student's concealed truth, so the investigation builds steadily across a single continuous arc rather than standalone cases. Set in a contemporary South Korean high school, the series carries a suspenseful, morally uneasy tone, with the pressure of adolescent cruelty and adult self-interest pressing on every scene. Its blend of courtroom-style reasoning and school-drama intimacy will appeal to viewers who enjoy Korean thrillers, teen secrets and the redemptive arc of a flawed protagonist. Fans of Big Little Lies and Pretty Little Liars will find resonance in its pairing of privileged youth secrets with a slow-building, plot-driven mystery.
