Revenge of Others

A boy falls to his death at school, but Ok Chan-mi does not believe that her twin brother, Park Won-seok, committed suicide. Chan-mi transfers to her brother's school, Yongtan High, and meets Ji Soo-heon, who witnessed her brother's death. A "hero," who avenges bullied students, appears at Yongtan High. Chan-mi speculates that it may be connected to her brother and starts looking for this hero.

Revenge of Others (2022) is a South Korean high school mystery thriller series created by Kim Yoo-jin for Disney+. Ok Chan-mi (Shin Ye-eun) refuses to accept that her twin brother Park Won-seok died by suicide after falling at school, so she transfers into Yongtan High and begins quietly questioning classmates, including Ji Soo-heon (Lomon), who witnessed the death. Her pursuit leads her toward a masked avenger who punishes bullies, and the investigation pulls her into the secret hierarchies of the campus, where wealthy and poor students clash over status and resentment. Each episode peels back another layer of alliances, rivalries, and hidden motives, rewarding close attention with plot twists and shifting suspicions. The single season of twelve hour-long episodes is a single continuing story, unfolding in a present-day South Korean school setting. Its mood is tense, morally tangled and melancholic, with a sharp eye on privilege and cruelty. Viewers who enjoy Korean school thrillers, teen mysteries like Riverdale, and social revenge stories in the vein of Sweet Home will find the series compelling.

Viewers broadly praise its accessible yet twisty revenge mystery, strong performances, and sharp social commentary on class divides, though the plot can become convoluted.
