Unstoppable

A group of friends set out on a road trip when an unexpected fourth passenger forces an abrupt change of plans.

Unstoppable is a Mexican drama series created by Diego Martínez Ulanosky for Netflix. A close-knit group of friends, including Vera, Rocío, Carlota and Joshua, sets out on a road trip that turns abruptly when an unexpected fourth passenger forces them to change course. Rocío's personal history, including the memory of her late sister, colors the journey, while her father hovers over the story. The series runs for a single season, with each episode built from the friction of the car, the cramped stops along the route, and the old loyalties and resentments that surface when the plan falls apart. Its tone is tense and emotionally raw, with a restless youthful edge and a steady undercurrent of unease as the group's bonds are tested. Viewers who enjoy Skins, Élite and Wild Things will find the same mix of volatile friendships and escalating youthful trouble. The series leaves its central situation unresolved, and its reception was mixed.

Reception was mixed, with reviewers finding the premise promising but its execution and plot uneven.

• Skinsshared young friend group, road-trip premise, and volatile group dynamics under outside pressure
• Éliteshared Latin American teen-adjacent drama with serialized secrets and strained friendships
• Wild Thingsshared tense road-trip structure where a sudden change of plans escalates a small group's fraught dynamics
