All of Us Are Dead

A high school becomes ground zero for a zombie virus outbreak. Trapped students must fight their way out — or turn into one of the rabid infected.

All of Us Are Dead (2022) is a South Korean survival horror series created by Chun Sung-il, JQ Lee and Kim Nam-su for Netflix, adapted from a webtoon. Set inside a present-day Korean high school, it follows students including Nam On-jo (Park Ji-hu), Lee Cheong-san (Yoon Chan-young) and Choi Nam-ra (Cho Yi-hyun) as a zombie virus turns their campus into ground zero. The engine of the show is simple and brutal: trapped teenagers must find routes through corridors, classrooms and locked doors while avoiding the rabid infected, who were once their classmates and teachers. Each episode builds dread through close quarters, barricades, scattered supplies and fractured friendships, while old cliques, bullying and suspicion shape who survives. Though it is a single season of twelve roughly hour-long episodes, the story is one continuous siege that escalates steadily. Its tone is tense, bleak and emotionally raw, grounded in adolescent fear and loyalty rather than spectacle. Fans of Train to Busan, Alive and The Walking Dead will find resonance in its blend of zombie horror, Korean social commentary and claustrophobic survival drama.

Viewers broadly rate the series highly for its gripping zombie survival premise and its sharp handling of school hierarchy and bullying.
