Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi

Journey into the lives of two distinctly different Jedi from the prequel era – Ahsoka Tano and Count Dooku. Each will be put to the test as they make choices that will define their destinies.

Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi (2022) is a United States animated science fiction miniseries created by Dave Filoni for Disney+. Spanning six short episodes of roughly seventeen minutes each, it is a limited anthology-style entry in the Star Wars franchise that follows two Jedi from the prequel era. Ahsoka Tano, voiced by Ashley Eckstein, and Count Dooku, voiced by Corey Burton, are the two central figures, and the stories also feature Anakin Skywalker, voiced by Matt Lanter, and Qui-Gon Jinn, played by Liam Neeson. The engine of the series is the pressure of decisions that will shape each character's future, as both Jedi are tested and must weigh loyalty, duty and the pull of their own paths. Each episode is a compact, self-contained chapter built around lightsaber duels, political intrigue and small moments of character reflection. Its 3d animation gives the galaxy a polished, cinematic look, and the tone is earnest and adventurous, with a sense of destiny hanging over every choice. Fans of Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels will find resonance in its blend of animated space action and Jedi mythology, while those who enjoy Star Wars: Visions will appreciate its short-form, standalone storytelling.

Audiences rate the miniseries positively, praising its focus on Ahsoka Tano and Count Dooku and its tie-in to the prequel era.
