Lego Star Wars: The Yoda Chronicles

Yoda begins by training Padawans at the Jedi Temple Academy, but then he feels a disturbance in the Force and rushes off to fight the Dark Side.

LEGO Star Wars: The Yoda Chronicles (2013-2014) is a US animated space opera series produced by The LEGO Group for Disney XD and Cartoon Network. Its seven short episodes of about twenty-two minutes follow Yoda, voiced by Tom Kane, who narrates and trains Padawans at the Jedi Temple Academy until a disturbance in the Force sends him rushing off to fight the Dark Side. Familiar Star Wars figures appear across the run, including C-3PO voiced by Anthony Daniels, Darth Vader voiced by Matt Sloan, and young Obi-Wan Kenobi voiced by Sam Vincent. The engine of each story is a mix of training lessons, pursuit and lightsaber skirmishes staged in brick-built sets and vehicles. The show is split into two short seasons and runs as a loosely connected episodic adventure rather than a single dense arc. Its tone is playful, light and family friendly, with comedic energy and a toy-box visual charm. Set in a long-ago galaxy, it suits viewers who want a gentle entry into the franchise. Fans of Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Star Wars Rebels and The Lego Ninjago Movie will find resonance in its blend of animated action and humor.
